dad's sweet hoisin soy pork chops.
I remember making this dish with my Father when I was young. I really enjoyed learning to cook with him. He has been gone for over 20 years now and I find this a way to remember him. I hope you all enjoy.

How To Make dad's sweet hoisin soy pork chops.
-
Step 1Combine first 6 ingredients and stir. Place pork chops in 2 inch deep dish and poor mixture over them. Cover and let marinate in fridge for at least 30 minutes.
-
Step 2Spray a large cooking skillet with non stick spray. Put pork chops and liquid in pan. Heat over medium-low heat to cook pork chops for about 10 minutes. Make sure to turn them ever couple minutes.
-
Step 3The sauce should start to thicken. This is where you have to be careful not to burn them. You should cook them and let the sauce start to caramelize. Make sure to turn pork chops every 30 seconds and move around in pan. Once the sauce is caramelize (no liquid, but little sauce) remove from pan. Make sure to rinse out pan right away otherwise it a pain to clean.

Step 4Serve over rice and with a favorite vegetable.
