dad's firehouse pork chops

My Father is a Retired FDNY Firefighter and did a lot of the cooking at his firehouse. This is one of his dishes that is a comfort food to me. Great on a Cold Winters night.

Ingredients
- 4-6 - bone in pork chops
- 1 package sauerkraut
- 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
- pinch black pepper
How To Make dad's firehouse pork chops

Step 1First place 1/2 of the Sauerkraut in the bottom of a 9 X 13 baking pan

Step 2Place Chops on top of Sauerkraut and brush with the Mustard, then sprinkle with Black Pepper.

Step 3Place remaining Sauerkraut on top of chops and cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 for one hour. Uncover when there is 15 mins cook time left.

Step 4This goes very well with Baked Potatoes and Green Beans.
