This recipe I aquired from a co-workers wife. Before he retired, his wife would always make the ham for our Thanksgiving and Christmas Pot-Lucks.

Ingredients

  • HAM
  • 1 - ham (non-spiral type)
  • 1 can pineapples
  • - pineapple juice
  • - cherries
  • - cloves
  • GLAZE
  • 1 can dark brown sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons pineapple juice
  • 3-4 tablespoons mustard (what ever kind you like)

How To Make d. lee's ham

  • Step 1
    Cut diamonds on the fat side of the ham and place cloves at the corner of each diamond.
  • Step 2
    Bake in 350 degree oven, uncovered until fat is browned.
  • Step 3
    Pour pineapple juice on the ham and cover (out of the oven) for a couple of hours or overnight
  • Step 4
    Place pineapples and cherries on the ham with toothpicks and place in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Baste with glaze and bake 30 to 45 minutes on 350 degrees.
  • Step 6
    GLAZE-Cook all ingredients in a pot until it becomes syrupy then baste the ham.
