This recipe I aquired from a co-workers wife. Before he retired, his wife would always make the ham for our Thanksgiving and Christmas Pot-Lucks.

ham (non-spiral type)
1 can(s)
pineapple juice


1 can(s)
dark brown sugar
3-4 Tbsp
pineapple juice
3-4 Tbsp
mustard (what ever kind you like)

How to Make D. Lee's Ham


  • 1Cut diamonds on the fat side of the ham and place cloves at the corner of each diamond.
  • 2Bake in 350 degree oven, uncovered until fat is browned.
  • 3Pour pineapple juice on the ham and cover (out of the oven) for a couple of hours or overnight
  • 4Place pineapples and cherries on the ham with toothpicks and place in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  • 5Baste with glaze and bake 30 to 45 minutes on 350 degrees.
  • 6GLAZE-Cook all ingredients in a pot until it becomes syrupy then baste the ham.
