Ingredients

  • 2 - potatoes, scrubbed and sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1.5 cups sauerkraut, rinsed, drained
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 2 - pork chops, thick, trimmed
  • - pepper

How To Make crockpot sweet/sour kraut with pork chops

  • Step 1
    Put potatoes in crockpot.
  • Step 2
    Top with chopped onion.
  • Step 3
    Combine sauerkraut, (1 can) with brown sugar and pineapple juice.
  • Step 4
    Spoon over potatoes.
  • Step 5
    Top with pork chops which have been trimmed of fat.
  • Step 6
    Season with pepper to taste.
  • Step 7
    Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
  • Step 8
    Serve with rye bread and microwave baked apples.
