My husband absolutely loves this recipe and it makes a lovely change from just a plain old pork roast. So simple to do, put it on go out for the day and walk in to the lovely aroma and great taste.

Ingredients
- 1 - pork joint
- 2 - pears
- 6 - potatoes
- 2 cups cider
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- - flour
- 2 -3 dash season salt
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 clove garlic
- - sea salt
- - fresh ground pepper corns
How To Make crockpot pork roast

Step 1Rub sea salt and freshly ground peppercorns into scorn pork roast Flour the pork roast and brown in skillet till fat is crispy looking. Transfer to crock pot,add garlic, onions and seasoning. Peel and quarter the potatoes and place around the roast. Peel pears and slice them and place on top of the roast, pour the maple syrup over the top of the the pears and roast. Now add cider and turn your crock pot on to low. This can be cooked quicker on high and only needs approximately 4 - 5 hours.
