crockpot polish sausage stew

This is very easy to make. You can use 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed . But I used one pakg. of "Express" diced potatoes all ready. You can buy them where hot dogs or fresh meat are.There called Express...It is so even good i enjoy eating it cold the next day...I never use can sauerkraut. The fresh bags you will find where the hot dogs are. so mush better

Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • - 1 bag (24 to 32 oz.) sauerkraut, rinsed and drained... i use a clean tee towel and put it in and just ring it out real good.. works great
  • 1 1/2 pounds polish sausage, cut in 2
  • 1 package express potatoes 16 oz
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar or jack cheese

How To Make crockpot polish sausage stew

  • Step 1
    In a crock pot, combine the soup, sugar, and sauerkraut. Mix well. Add and stir in sausage, potato, and onion. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
  • Step 2
    stir in cheese Let it melt a bit.. Blend together.... Spoon into serving bowls ....sooo yummy
