crockpot cranberry pork roast
My husband and son say this is the best pork roast I have ever made. I don't remember for sure where I got it, but it was probably a Taste of Home Recipe since I get many recipes from that site.

Ingredients
- 1 - 3 or 4 pound boneless pork loin roast
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 - 14 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cranberry juice
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/4 cup water
- - salt to taste
How To Make crockpot cranberry pork roast

Step 1In a Dutch oven, brown roast in oil on all sides over medium heat. Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker. Combine the cranberry sauce, sugar, cranberry juice, mustard, pepper and cloves. Pour over roast.

Step 2Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender. Remove roast and keep warm.

Step 3In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, water and salt until smooth. Stir in cooking juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with roast.
