Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    pork, boneless and cubed
  • 3 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 6
    carrots
  • 4
    potatoes
  • 2
    onions
  • 1
    apple
  • 2 c
    apple cider
  • 1 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    cold water
  • 1/4 c
    flour

How to Make Crockpot Cider Pork Stew

Step-by-Step

  1. Cube boneless pork, slice onions and carrots, quarter potatoes and chop the apple.
  2. Combine 3 tablespoons flour, salt, thyme and pepper, toss with meat.
  3. Put carrots, potatoes, onion and apple in cooker.
  4. Top with meat cubes.
  5. Combine apple cider and vinegar, pour over meat.
  6. Cover, cook on low for 10-12 hours.
  7. Turn cooker to high and blend 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 cup cold water, blend well.
  8. Stir into liquid in crockpot.
  9. Cover, cook 15 minutes or until thickened and season to taste.
