Got this one from my mother-in-law. Cooking in the crockpot makes is very easy.

boneless pork chops
1 large
onion, sliced thin
3 clove
garlic, chopped
15 oz
chicken broth
4 oz
green chilies
1 tsp
ground cumin
2 pkg
pork gravy
1 lb
tomatillo's, chopped
green pepper, chopped
1/2 c
cilantro, chopped
onion powder, to taste
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
jalapeno pepper, to taste

How to Make Crockpot Chili Verde


  • 1Put pork chops in crock pot. Mix chicken broth and gravy in large bowl. Add rest of ingredients to broth and gravy mix. Pour over meat.
  • 2Cook on high 4 hrs or low 7-8 hours.
  • 315 minutes before done, mix some flour & water together till smooth. Wisk into chili verde till smooth. Shred any pork that isn't already shredded. Cover and cook on high 15-20 minutes.
  • 4Put some verde inside a warmed tortilla, add some cheese. Wrap up buritto-styled, put more verde on top and add sour cream, guacamole, cheese, olives, etc. Serve with mexican rice and refried beans.
