Ingredients

2 pkg(16 oz) frozen black-eyed peas
-
32 ozchicken broth
-
1 can(s)(15 oz) ranch style beans, undrained

1 mediumonion, chopped
-
1 - 2jalapeno peppers, chopped (seeds and membrane removed)

1 largerib of celery, chopped
-
1 pkg(12 to 16 oz) frozen sliced okra (not breaded)
-
8 - 10 slicethick-sliced bacon, cut into1 to 1 1/2 inch pieces
-
1 can(s)ro-tel tomatoes and diced green chilies
How to Make CROCKPOT BLACK EYED PEAS AND OKRA
- Do not thaw the peas or the okra.
- Place all ingredients in your slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
- Serve with your favorite cornbread.
