This is a recipe that is a make ahead dinner. The flavors of sweet and savory is a delight! Very easy and it will make you home smell wonderfull!

    thick pork chops, trimmed
  • 1
    onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1
    clove garlic , minced
  • 1
    ince of ginger , grated
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 - 19 oz
    pineapple tidbits
  • 1 c
    pineapple juice
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 1/2 c
    white rice
  • 2 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/3 c
    vinager
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How to Make Crock-Pot Polynesian Pork Chops

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all ingredients up to the rice into a crock pot.
  2. Cook on low for 8-9 hours or longer for falll apart meat.
  3. Remove from crock pot with a slotted spoon and place on a serving platter-Pour liquid into a medium saucepan
  4. Whisk together the remaining ingredients and add to ingredients in saucepan-over medium high heat-and cook until thickened to your preference.
  5. Pour over chops and serve.
