crock pot herbed spaghetti sauce
I throw all this in the slow cooker and let it go a few hours and serve with any pasta I happen to have on hand! I've gotten to where this is about all I cook for pasta. Its so much better than any brand of jarred sauce out there and I would bet its better for you anyway! Gustare!

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 - onion,
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cans (15 oz,) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cans (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can (6 oz.) mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (sub 1 tbsp. dried)
- 1/4 cup fresh basil (sub 1 tbsp.dried)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 - bay leaf
- - hot cooked pasta
How To Make crock pot herbed spaghetti sauce

Step 1Combine ground beef, sausage, onion and garlic in a large frying pan; cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat.

Step 2Drain off grease. Pour meat mixture and remaining ingredients except for spaghetti into slow cooker.

Step 3Cook over low heat for 3-4 hours.

Step 4Serve over hot cooked pasta, any type.
