Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti, uncooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 12 ounces ham, diced
  • 1 - bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10 ounces spinach, thawed and drained
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

How To Make creamy ham ziti

  • Step 1
    Prepare pasta according to package directions.
  • Step 2
    While pasta is cooking, warm the oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  • Step 3
    Add the ham and red pepper and cook until browned.
  • Step 4
    Meanwhile, puree the sour cream, spinach, milk, mustard, parsley, dill, lemon juice and hot sauce in a food processor or blender until very smooth.
  • Step 5
    Add the puree to the ham.
  • Step 6
    Heat to a simmer.
  • Step 7
    When pasta is done, drain it well.
  • Step 8
    Toss pasta with sauce, season with salt and pepper and serve.
