This one is from my Grandama Jo. I remember coming from school and all you could smell was this amazing aroma of sweet, mouth watering homemade vinegar sauce and spareribs!!! She'd usally severed it up with corn and baked potatoe's Not really sure where she got this reciepe from,but it is one of my husbands favorites!!! Hope you all can give it a try, it's surely one not to pass up on.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef or pork spareribs
  • 2 cups sliced onion (into rings)
  • 2 cloves garlic ( can use dry garlic)
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make country spareribs

  • Step 1
    bake ribs in a shallow pan at *450, for 30 min. Drain off grease. While ribs are cooking, mix together all remaining ingredients ina sauce pan and simmer for ten min.
  • Step 2
    Reduce heat to *350. Pour sauce over ribs and bake for 1 hour, covered in tinfoil.
