Country Pork Ribs & Cabbage

3 lb
country style pork ribs
1 medium
green cabbage head -- chopped
1 medium
white onion
4 medium
yukon potatoes -- peeled & cubed
1/4 c
apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
2 Tbsp
cooking oil -- your choice
as needed
salt & pepper -- season your pork

How to Make Country Pork Ribs & Cabbage


  • 1Heat your oven to 325° F.
  • 2Place the cabbage, onion, and potatoes in the bottom of a Dutch oven.
  • 3Heat a couple of tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • 4Add seasoned pork ribs and cook until browned on each side. Remove pork and place over cabbage. Pour off fat.
  • 5Combine vinegar and brown sugar in a small bowl.
  • 6Add to frying pan, stirring to remove browned pork bits from bottom of pan.
  • 7Pour over ribs and veggies.
  • 8Cover & bake for 2 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 155° F.
