my boyfriend absolutley loved this recipe! full of flavor and the brining process makes the chops so moist.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold water
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup table salt
  • 2 pounds bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, light
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How To Make cider brined pork chops

  • Step 1
    get a big bowl and a 1 gallon ziploc bag -put bag in bowl and add the first 4 ingredients mix well till salt is dissolved. add pork chops and close bag and make sure pork chops are fully covered.
  • Step 2
    put in fridge for 3- 4 hours then take out pat dry. massage with olive oil, salt and pepper. put on heated grill. ( i use the foreman grill!)
  • Step 3
    cook 4 to 10 minutes and wallah! a great meal. i serve with buttered noodles and corn.
