Chorizo Chili Macc



I love the flavor of fresh chorizo! Have made hamburger chili Macc for years. So I thought, why not " chorizo" chili? So good!

  • 1 lb
    fresh chorizo sausage,casing removed
  • 1 medium
    onion, diced
  • 2 can(s)
    tomato sauce, 15 oz.
  • 2 can(s)
    light red kidney beans, drained
  • 1/2 pkg
    chili seasoning, hot & mild
  • 1 box
    macaroni noodles,cooked
  • 8-10 oz
    velveeta, cubed

How to Make Chorizo Chili Macc


  1. Cook macaroni according to directions.
  2. Remove casings from chorizo. In a large pot, Brown chorizo with diced onions until no longer pink.Drain if needed.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients except cheese & noodles, stirring until well combined. Simmer until chili is completely hot. Reduce heat.Add cheese, stirring occasionally until all cheese is incorporated.
  4. Add cooked noodles, mix well. Cover. Allow 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
