Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork belly
- 3 cubes red fermented tofu mashed with fork
- 1/2 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
How To Make chinese roasted pork belly

Step 1Mix the red fermented tofu Chinese 5 Spice, salt, sugar, and garlic. Rub all over the pork belly. Let marinate overnight in the fridge.

Step 2Take the pork out of the fridge 1 hour before baking. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Step 3Place the pork on a rack in a baking pan and pour water in the bottom of the pan under the pork but don't touch the pork.

Step 4Roast for 1 hour 15 minutes turning every 20 minutes. Let rest for 15 minutes.
