Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork belly sliced into spare ribs size
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons each shaoxing wine, or dry sherry and honey
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon each chines five spice and red food coloring
- GLAZE
- 1/4 cup each hoisin sauce, and soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon each shaoxing wine or sherry and honey
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon each chinese five spice and red food coloring
How To Make chinese red roasted pork belly

Step 1Mix the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, honey brown sugar, garlic, Chinese 5 spice and red food coloring together. Add the Pork belly and marinate overnight.

Step 2Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Line a roasting pan with foil. Place the grate in the bottom of the roasting pan. Add the pork belly and discard the marinade.

Step 3Roast the pork belly for 2 hours turning every half hour.

Step 4Mix the ingredients for the glaze together in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low and reduce by half. Serve the glaze over the pork belly
