Ingredients

MEATBALLS

3/4 lblean ground beef
-
1/4 lbground pork
-
3/4 coatmeal, uncooked
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1/4 cwaterchestnuts, minced
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1/2 tsponion salt
-
1/2 tspgarlic salt
-
3-4 dash(es)hot pepper sauce

SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE FOR MEATBALLS

1 ccane sugar
-
3/4 capple cider vinegar
-
3/4 cwater
-
1 tsppaprika
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2-3 tspcorn starch
-
1 Tbspwater, cold
How to Make Chinese Meatballs
- Combine all ingredients except butter. Mix well.
form into 4 dozen small meatballs. brown in butter.
Drain well. - make sweet and sour sauce;
Combine first 5 ingredients in large skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes stirring often.Blend cornstarch and water. Add to hot mixture. Cook stirring until mixture thickens. - Add meatballs to sauce, simmer to blend flavors.
serve in chaffing dish with toothpicks on hand.
note: I was making no less than 300 at a time, that many bake in the oven for 15 about 375*. either way. enjoy. xoxox
