I can't remember not having these. my stepmom entertained alot and was a wonderful cook, these I took into my catering business. they have never failed to be a hit. Chinese Fortune says: your gonna love these meatballs

Ingredients
- MEATBALLS
- 3/4 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 pound ground pork
- 3/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup waterchestnuts, minced
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 3-4 dashes hot pepper sauce
- SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE FOR MEATBALLS
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2-3 teaspoons corn starch
- 1 tablespoon water, cold
How To Make chinese meatballs

Step 1Combine all ingredients except butter. Mix well. form into 4 dozen small meatballs. brown in butter. Drain well.

Step 2make sweet and sour sauce; Combine first 5 ingredients in large skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes stirring often.Blend cornstarch and water. Add to hot mixture. Cook stirring until mixture thickens.

Step 3Add meatballs to sauce, simmer to blend flavors. serve in chaffing dish with toothpicks on hand. note: I was making no less than 300 at a time, that many bake in the oven for 15 about 375*. either way. enjoy. xoxox
