Ingredients

  • 6 - pork chops, 1 1/3 lbs
  • GROUP ONE
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon each salt and minced garlic,
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • - dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • GROUP TWO
  • 2 tablespoons each soy sauce and water
  • 1 tablespoon each vinegar and sugar
  • 2 tablespoons each minces green onion, ginger root, and garlic
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • - oil for deep frying

How To Make chinese fried pork chops

  • Step 1
    Tenderize pork chops with mallet or rolling pin till thin. Add GROUP ONE, marinate 1 hour (i leave mine over night). Coat with cornstarch before deep frying.
  • Step 2
    Heat oil. Deep fry (or skillet fry) 4 minutes or until golden and thoroughly cooked. Remove and dip in GROUP TWO. Add chopped red chili pepper if desired.
