How to Make Chili & Tomato Macaroni Dish
- Boil together 1 3/4 qts of water and 1 1/3 cups of macaroni. When macaroni is tender, drain. While waiting for this, fry 1/2 cup chopped bacon till crisp, add 3 T. chopped onion, fry till onion is wilted. Add to this 1 qt tomatoes (or 2 ½ can tomatoes) 1 T chili powder and salt to taste. Mix all together. Put into a casserole dish and bake in a 375° oven. Bake 30 minutes.
