My husband Roy loves these porkilious bites. They are so easy and tasty. If you like pork skins out of the bag, you are going to love this snack. Give them a try and let me know what you think. Cooking with Passion, sw :)

How to Make Chicharrones My Way

  • 1wash and season pork skin. place pork on a large cookie sheet.
  • 2preheat you oven to 250 degrees. bake for 3 hours. remove pork from cookie sheet. allow to cool and refrigerate over night.
  • 3heat your deep fryer to 350 degrees. deep fry for 10-12 minutes or until crispy. drain on paper towels. **the original way to fry chicharrones, is to fry the pork in it's own fat in a deep pot. i like to save rendered lard for frying potatoes, add it to your greens, etc. either way, they will be delicious. serve with your favorite dipping sauce...i love them with some spicy salsa.
