1 lbground pork
2 Tbspfresh parsley chopped
3 Tbsppanko bread crumbs
1 smallonion chopped
3 clovegarlic minced
2 tspcrushed fennel seeds
·salt pepper and olive oil
241/4 inch sq pieces smoked provolone cheese
How to Make cheese Stuffed Pork and Fennel Meatballs
- Place some oil in a saute pan and saute the fennel, onion and garlic until softened. Let cool a bit. Mix all ingredients except cheese.
- Roll into 24 balls. Press one piece of cheese into the center of each ball. Roll the ball around the cheese.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or fry in olive oil
