yummy meatballs. I like to dip them in BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 3 tablespoons panko bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons crushed fennel seeds
  • - salt pepper and olive oil
  • 24 - 1/4 inch sq pieces smoked provolone cheese

How To Make cheese stuffed pork and fennel meatballs

  • Step 1
    Place some oil in a saute pan and saute the fennel, onion and garlic until softened. Let cool a bit. Mix all ingredients except cheese.
  • Step 2
    Roll into 24 balls. Press one piece of cheese into the center of each ball. Roll the ball around the cheese.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or fry in olive oil
