Ingredients
- 1 package green beans, french cut 10 ounces
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups cooked ham, chopped
- 2 - hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons pimento, chopped
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup croutons, herb flavored crushed
How To Make cheese-ham casserole

Step 1Cook beans according to package directions; drain and reserve 1/2 cup liquid.

Step 2Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan; saute onion.

Step 3Stir in flour and salt until well blended.

Step 4Remove from heat; stir in milk and reserved 1/2 cup liquid.

Step 5Heat to a boil, stirring constantly; boil and stir 1 minute.

Step 6Remove from heat; stir in ham, eggs, cheese, pimiento and parsley.

Step 7Place beans in baking dish; cover with ham sauce and sprinkle croutons over top.

Step 8Bake in preheated 350 oven 20 to 25 minutes.
