Ingredients
- 4 - pork chops, 3/4"-thick
- 1 teaspoon vegetable or canola oil
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 large grannysmith apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 3 tablespoons chopped pecans
How To Make caramel-apple pork chops

Step 1Heat oven to 175 to keep pork chops war while making sauce. Place a baking dish in oven to warm. Heat oil in lg skillet over med-high heat.

Step 2Brown chops on both sides. Transfer chops to warm baking dish. Keep in oven to keep warm. In bowl, combine brown sugar, salt, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add butter to skillet over medium heat.

Step 3Stir in brown sugar mix. Add apples. Cover, cook until apples are tender. Remove apples and place them on top of pork chops. Cook sauce in skillet until thickened. Spoon sauce over chops and apples. Sprinkle w/ pecans.
