this is an old family recipe-one my grandma fixed for years. in my busy world, as most others experience, i love to cook but many times i need something quick and easy!!

Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 8 ounces sliced smoked sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 16 oz cans stewed tomatoes
- 10 3/4 oz - chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make cajun sausage and rice

Step 1in large skillet combine all ingredients. bring to a boil-cover-reduce heat & simmer for 20 minutes. remove lid & simmer for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
