This is one of our favorites! I just throw it in the crockpot in the morning and add the sugar and cinnamon when I get home from work.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 lb
    pork loin
  • 1 clove
    garlic, halved
  • 1 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 1 1/3 c
    brown sugar, divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Brown Sugar Pork Loin

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash pork roast, trim excess fat, pat dry. Rub with garlic halves. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then prick the roast all over with a fork.
  2. Combine one cup of the brown sugar, the mustard, and the vinegar. Rub all over the roast.
  3. Put the roast in a slow cooker. cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.
  4. Combine the remaining 1/3 cup brown sugar with the cinnamon. Spread this on top of the roast. Continue cooking on low for an hour longer.
  5. Remove roast to a platter and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
