Ingredients
- 20 ounces broccoli, frozen
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 cup milk
- 4 ounces processed cheese spread
- 6 slices boiled ham, sliced
How To Make broccoli-ham rollups

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 (moderate).

Step 2Cook broccoli according to package directions until just tender.

Step 3While broccoli is cooking, melt fat in a heavy saucepan.

Step 4Stir in flour, salt and mustard.

Step 5Gradually stir in milk.

Step 6Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Step 7Add cheese and continue stirring until cheese is melted.

Step 8Do not overcook.

Step 9Divide broccoli spears into 6 portions, splitting large stalks as necessary.

Step 10Alternate direction of flower ends within each portion.

Step 11Place broccoli portions on and parallel to narrow end of each ham slice, extending flower ends over edges of ham.

Step 12Roll as for jellyroll with broccoli in the center of each rollup.

Step 13Arrange rollups in a baking dish with seam side down.

Step 14Pour sauce over rollups.

Step 15Bake until sauce is bubbly, about 20 minutes.
