How To Make bridgette's smothered pork chops
-
11. Heat you pan and add oil and butter.
-
2Season the chops with onion powder and garlic power
-
33. Add the chops to hot oil. I fried on one side for 3 minutes then the other side for 2 minutes and removed to continue frying the rest of the pork chops.
-
44. Set pork chops to the side
-
55. Add celery and bell peppers to the pan and sauté for 5 minutes.
-
66. Add onions and fry for 5 minutes
-
77. Add gravy to the pan and let simmer for 5 minutes
-
88. Return chops to gravy and let simmer for 1 hour or until the chops are as tender as you desire. I like my chops very tender, almost “falling off the bone”.
-
99. Serve with with rice and corn or peas and potato salad and ENJOY!
