wanted somethin different tired of same ole same ole saw recipe on here that sounded really good but i didn't have the right stuff for it so i came up with this...... was really good and breading stayed on [that is my biggest problem coating falls off]

Ingredients

  • 4 - 1/2 inch thick bone in center cut pork chops
  • 1 - sleeve saltine crackers,crushed well
  • 1/2 cup whipped mayo
  • 1 tablespoon miced jarred garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/4 medium green bell pepper
  • 1/4 medium yellow bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon powdered smoke flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives

How To Make breaded pork chops

  • Step 1
    put crushed saltines in qy size zip baggie to that add chives,thyme,and onion powder shake to mix well sit aside
  • Step 2
    take garlic,both bell peppers and onion and put in food processor mix til fine add mayo and mustard,black pepper and smoke flavoring processe til all mixed well [add dash of milk if to thick] put in zip baggie
  • Step 3
    preheat oven to 375 spray a cookis sheet with non stick spray
  • Step 4
    one at a time put pork chops first in mayo mix and shake to coat well then add to saltines and coat well
  • Step 5
    put on cookie sheet... do other three chops put in fridge at least an hour covered remove from fridge bout 15 min before puttin in oven
  • Step 6
    cook 30 min flip each chop over cook 15-25 min longer turn oven off let chops sit in oven 15-20 min then serve
