Bratwurst is very popular where I live and it's fun to find different ways to enjoy the wonderful flavor of bratwurst. I can't remember how I aquired this recipe, but my family and friends have enjoyed it over the years.

Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk bratwurst, not links
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 can sauerkraut 8oz drained
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
- 2 cups bisquick
- 1 cup beer or non alcholic beer
- 2 - eggs
How To Make bratwurst casserole

Step 1Heat oven to 400

Step 2Spray cake pan with cooking spray.

Step 3Brown bratwurst and onion in large skillet until bratwurst is cooked. Let cool.

Step 4Sprinkle bratwurst and onion mixture in cake pan, the sauerkraut and then the swiss cheese.

Step 5Mix eggs, bisquick and beer together, pour over bratwurst mixture. Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
