A wonderful marinaded and glazed ham for the holidays. Perfect for Easter.

  • 1
    10 - 12 lb fully cooked ham
  • 1 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 Tbsp
    whole cloves - enough to stud ham

How to Make Bourbon Ham


  1. Place ham in heavy plastic bag. Mix all ingredients except whole cloves. Pour over ham. Enclose ham in bag. Refrigerate overnight.
  2. The next day, reserve marinate. Put ham in baking pan and bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour, or until heated through.
  3. Remove skin and shave fat to 1/4 inch. Score fat into 1 inch diamonds.
  4. Insert whole clove in each diamond. Baste with marinate. Cook 1/2 to 1 hour more, until glaze is a golden brown.
