110 - 12 lb fully cooked ham
1 corange juice
1 cbrown sugar
1 Tbspground cloves
1 Tbspwhole cloves - enough to stud ham
How to Make Bourbon Ham
- Place ham in heavy plastic bag. Mix all ingredients except whole cloves. Pour over ham. Enclose ham in bag. Refrigerate overnight.
- The next day, reserve marinate. Put ham in baking pan and bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour, or until heated through.
- Remove skin and shave fat to 1/4 inch. Score fat into 1 inch diamonds.
- Insert whole clove in each diamond. Baste with marinate. Cook 1/2 to 1 hour more, until glaze is a golden brown.
