Ingredients
- 1 - 10 - 12 lb fully cooked ham
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 tablespoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves - enough to stud ham
How To Make bourbon ham

Step 1Place ham in heavy plastic bag. Mix all ingredients except whole cloves. Pour over ham. Enclose ham in bag. Refrigerate overnight.

Step 2The next day, reserve marinate. Put ham in baking pan and bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour, or until heated through.

Step 3Remove skin and shave fat to 1/4 inch. Score fat into 1 inch diamonds.

Step 4Insert whole clove in each diamond. Baste with marinate. Cook 1/2 to 1 hour more, until glaze is a golden brown.
