This is a favorite in my family, even the ones that hate cabbage.I found it in an old southern cook book, and put my own little twist to it.If you decide to try it, I hope you will love it like we do.

Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage chopped
- 1lb - sausage roll
- 8 ounces - jack cheese
- 1TBLS - olive oil
- 1/4 cup - water
How To Make boil that cabbage down

Step 1Heat oven to 325 fry sausage in a skillet. drain fat, then layer sausage in oblong casserole dish,or cake pan, set aside.

Step 2next add olive oil to skillet ( do not wash skillet )heat to sizzling ( don't let oil brown )add cabbage then add water, and mix until cabbage is halfway cooked.

Step 3layer cabbage over sausage then sprinkle cheese over all. Cover with foil for 45 min. take foil off last 15 min, or until golden brown.

Step 4If you like you can add chopped onions to cabbage before cooking.
