- 1 package bacon
- 1 large tomato

How To Make blt sandwich
-
Step 1Bacon - Baking the bacon is easier and less clean up. Line a baking sheet with foil. Put bacon slices on the foil and place the baking sheet on the center rack of a cold oven. Turn oven on to 400°F....and just leave it to cook for 15-17 mins. Bacon will be golden brown, DO NOT BURN... watch it. ( If you want you can flip the bacon over with tongs at 10 mins) Place on paper towel or paper plate to drain.

Step 2Place on paper towel or paper plate to drain.
-
Step 3Lettuce and tomato- wash and slice, and set a side French bread- thinly slice and lightly toast, or you can leave it not toasted, may use any bread you like. Thousand Island dressing- Spred on sandwich ( This dressing gives the BLT Sandwich a different taste , so if you don't like dressing you can use mayo )
-
Step 4Home made Thousand Island Dressing- 1 c real mayo 1/4 c red cilli sause 1 1/2 Tsp minced onions 2 Tsp ketchup 2 tsp sweet pickle relish 1/2 tsp garlic paste or minced garlic and a dash of salt and fresh black pepper Mix well and put in ice box to chill for an hour or so ( this makes about 2 cups)
