This BLT Sandwich is on toasted french bread with a homemade thousand Island dressing...The dressing gives the sandwich a great taste. I also bake the bacon for easy clean up and perfect bacon pieces. I hope you enjoy it.

How To Make

  • 1
Bacon - Baking the bacon is easier and less clean up. Line a baking sheet with foil. Put bacon slices on the foil and place the baking sheet on the center rack of a cold oven. Turn oven on to 400°F....and just leave it to cook for 15-17 mins. Bacon will be golden brown, DO NOT BURN... watch it. ( If you want you can flip the bacon over with tongs at 10 mins) Place on paper towel or paper plate to drain.

Lettuce and tomato- wash and slice, and set a side French bread- thinly slice and lightly toast, or you can leave it not toasted, may use any bread you like. Thousand Island dressing- Spred on sandwich ( This dressing gives the BLT Sandwich a different taste , so if you don't like dressing you can use mayo )
