Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh shelled blackeyed peas with snaps (can be frozen, but not canned)
- 1 - chopped onion
- 2 - celery stalks, chopped
- 10 small red new potatoes
- 1 - slab salt pork or 1/2 pound lean diced ham steak
How To Make blackeyed peas

Step 1Cover ingredients in a large pan (dutch oven). Can use either water or broth or a combination. Cook just until peas and potatoes are tender. Salt to taste.
