Ingredients
- PORK
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 2 green onions finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- SAUCE
- 1/3 cup black bean paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili oil
- 4 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- QUICK PICKLED CUCUMBER
- 1 large cucumber peeled and cubed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- GARNISH
- 2 green onions finely chopped
- FOR SERVING
- 2 cups cooked rice
How To Make black bean pork

Step 1Mix the chopped cucumber with the salt and rice vinegar and set aside. Mix the cornstarch and water together and set aside.

Step 2Mix the black bean paste, soy sauce, brown sugar and chili oil together and set aside.

Step 3Place the ground pork, green onions, garlic and ginger together in a large skillet. Cook stirring until the pork is no longer pink. Add in the black bean paste mixture. Cook 1 minute. Add the cornstarch and water mixture. Cook until thickened a bit.

Step 4Serve over cooked rice with a side of the cucumbers and garnished with green onions
