Beer Braised Ribs

Ingredients

2 lbpork ribs
-
1 tspeach salt pepper garlic powder onion powder and mccormicks chipotle garlic seasoning.

2 Tbspoil
-
1 largesweet onion chopped
-
2 can(s)12 oz beer i use bud light
-
2 cbeef stock
-
2 pkgpowdered beef or pork gravy
-
1 pkglipton onion soup mix
-
1 1/2 cchopped fresh mushrooms
-
1 cheavy cream
How to Make Beer Braised Ribs
- Mix the seasonings together and rub on the ribs. Let sit on counter for 30 minutes. Heat a large skillet and add oil. Sear the ribs on all sides. Remove from pan. Add the onions and garlic and saute until browned. Pour a little beer in pan to deglaze then add the ribs back to pan. Add the rest of the beer. Place in preheated 375 degree oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
- While ribs are baking make the gravy. Place a little bit of oil in a saucepan. Add the mushrooms and cook until browned. Add the beef broth and gravy mixes. Stir and bring to a boil. Add the heavy cream and onion soup mix. Cook until thickened.
- After the ribs have been baking for an hour and a half Pour the gravy mixture over the ribs. Allow to bake another half an hour.
- Serve the ribs with the gravy over top and there will be plenty more for potatoes or noodles or rice
