Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork ribs
- 1 teaspoon each salt pepper garlic powder onion powder and mccormicks chipotle garlic seasoning.
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large sweet onion chopped
- 2 cans 12 oz beer i use bud light
- 2 cups beef stock
- 2 packages powdered beef or pork gravy
- 1 package lipton onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup heavy cream
How To Make beer braised ribs

Step 1Mix the seasonings together and rub on the ribs. Let sit on counter for 30 minutes. Heat a large skillet and add oil. Sear the ribs on all sides. Remove from pan. Add the onions and garlic and saute until browned. Pour a little beer in pan to deglaze then add the ribs back to pan. Add the rest of the beer. Place in preheated 375 degree oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours.

Step 2While ribs are baking make the gravy. Place a little bit of oil in a saucepan. Add the mushrooms and cook until browned. Add the beef broth and gravy mixes. Stir and bring to a boil. Add the heavy cream and onion soup mix. Cook until thickened.

Step 3After the ribs have been baking for an hour and a half Pour the gravy mixture over the ribs. Allow to bake another half an hour.

Step 4Serve the ribs with the gravy over top and there will be plenty more for potatoes or noodles or rice
