This has been a family favorite, I also make it for potlucks. This recipe was handed down from my husbands grandmother. I always get asked for this recipe where ever I take it. Now sharing this with you and your family it is very easy and very yummy. Please let me know what you think. ENJOY =)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 6 to 8 slices bacon (cut in pieces)
  • 2 (24 oz.) cans pork and beans (drained)
  • 1 (15oz.) can kidney beans, canned (drained)
  • 1 (15oz.) can lima beans or butter beans (drained)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 17.5 oz bottles bbq sauce hickory or smoked

How To Make bbq beans

  • Step 1
    Brown hamburger, onions,and bacon (cut into pieces)
  • Step 2
    drain all liquids from all canned beans
  • Step 3
    Spray your bean kettle with Pam (cooking spray) Mix together drained beans, browned hamburger,onions, bacon. Add brown sugar and BBQ sauce. Bake for 2 to 3 hours in a 350° oven uncovered.
