This has been a family favorite, I also make it for potlucks. This recipe was handed down from my husbands grandmother. I always get asked for this recipe where ever I take it. Now sharing this with you and your family it is very easy and very yummy. Please let me know what you think. ENJOY =)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 medium
    onion
  • 6 to 8 slice
    bacon (cut in pieces)
  • 2 (24 oz.) can(s)
    pork and beans (drained)
  • 1 (15oz.) can(s)
    kidney beans, canned (drained)
  • 1 (15oz.) can(s)
    lima beans or butter beans (drained)
  • 1 c
    brown sugar (packed)
  • 17.5 oz bottle
    bbq sauce hickory or smoked

How to Make BBQ Beans

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown hamburger, onions,and bacon (cut into pieces)
  2. drain all liquids from all canned beans
  3. Spray your bean kettle with Pam (cooking spray)
    Mix together drained beans, browned hamburger,onions, bacon. Add brown sugar and BBQ sauce. Bake for 2 to 3 hours in a 350° oven uncovered.
