When I made pork chops I used to "Shake-n-Bake". Then, I found this recipe and this is our go-to for pork chop night!!

Ingredients

  • 8 - rib pork chops, 1 inch thick
  • - flour
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 cup catchup

How To Make barbecued pork chops

  • Step 1
    Dredge chops in flour. Brown in shortening. Pour off excess fat.
  • Step 2
    In a mixing bowl add the 2 Tablespoon flour to mustard and make a paste. Add remaining ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Blend well and pour over chops. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
