barbecued gingered ham slice
If you marinate while you are at work (I come home at lunch to turn the ham), you can have a great grilled meal in minutes on a weeknight. Kids like this too, making it a plus!

How To Make barbecued gingered ham slice
-
Step 1Score the fat on the ham slice. Place the ham slice in a large shallow dish.
-
Step 2Combine the ginger ale and remaining ingredients; stir well. Pour the marinade mixture over the ham slice. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours, turning once.
-
Step 3Remove the ham slice from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
-
Step 4Grill, covered, over medium coals for 8 to 10 minutes on each side. Make sure your coals are not too hot!. Baste the ham slice frequently with the reserved marinade.
