bangers and noodles with onion gravy
This is my version of bangers and mash because my husband doesn't like mashed potatoes. I know who doesn't like mash potatoes but I guess he doesn't. So I serve it over noodles and still get a great tasting dish.

Step 1Add the oil to a large pan. Brown the sausages until cooked or if precooked just until browned. Remove the sausages to a plate and set aside.
-
Step 2You need at least 2 tbsp oil left in the pan. If not add some butter. Add the onion and garlic and saute 4 minutes. Whisk in the flour and mix through. Add 1 cup of the beef broth and mix well. Then add the rest of the beef broth and whisk until thickened. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Serve the gravy over the cooked noodles and top with sausages.
