Many years ago I cut this recipe out of the newspaper and thought I would give it a try.To my surprise the family really liked it and still ask for me to make it.I usually make 2 of the recipe to make sure there is plenty.

Ingredients
- 6 to8 - sweet italian sausage
- 3 large - potatoes,peeled
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoons butter or oleo
- 1 - onion,peeled and sliced
- - salt,pepper,and oregano
How To Make baked italian sausage and potatoes

Step 1Cut potatoes in half lengthwise.Cut each half crosswise into one-forth inch slices.

Step 2Generously grease bottom of shallow casserole with oil(may use Pam).

Step 3Arrange sliced potatoes in casserole.Season with salt,pepper,and oregano.

Step 4Dot with butter.Top with sliced onion.

Step 5Cut sausages into forths.Place on top of onions.Sprinkle with oregano.

Step 6Bake uncovered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Stir and bake 30 minutes more.
