BAKED HAM

I always bake my ham like this when it is requested on holiday's.
DAY BEFORE PREP IS NEEDED!

Ingredients

DAY 1 OF PREPARATION:
-
2 ldiet or regular ginger ale
-
12 ozdiet or regular maple syrup
-
2oranges with peels, cut into quarters
-
2apples with skins, cored & cut into quarters
-
2 tspfile powder (spice)
-
·whole ham
-
DAY 2 OF PREPARATION:
-
1 to 2 creserved liquid
-
1/4 csugar free or regular brown sugar
-
2 Tbspregular mustard
How to Make BAKED HAM
- DIRECTIONS FOR DAY 1....
- Put above ingredients in a large pot with ham. Simmer "uncovered" for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Keep turning ham & baste frequently. Do not cover!
- Remove ham from pot & refrigerate overnight. Reserve liquid in a sealed container & refrigerate also.
- DIRECTIONS FOR DAY 2....
- Combine above ingredients & pour over ham in a baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for 30 minutes to 1 hour, basting occasionally.
- Remove from oven; cover with foil & let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
