Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 6 pounds smoked ham shank, cooked and bone-in
- GLAZE INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup preserves, plum or peach
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
How To Make baked glazed ham

Step 1Heat oven to 375.

Step 2Combine sugar, chili powder, paprika, cumin, cinnamon and cloves in small bowl.

Step 3Score top and sides of ham with knife in a crisscross pattern.

Step 4Sprinkle with spice mixture. Place ham in a 17x11 inch roasting pan.

Step 5Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours until instant-read thermometer in center registers 140. (After 1 hour, cover ham loosely with foil to prevent over-browning).

Step 6Combine preserves and orange juice in small cup.

Step 7Uncover ham; brush with preserves.

Step 8Bake 5 minutes more. Let stand 15 minutes.
