baked beans with smoked sausage and beef

Our family loves my baked beans but I have added smoked sausage and beef to it to take to a potluck and it was a hit! This recipe makes a large amount but you can cut the recipe in half.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound smoked kielbasa/polish sausage, cut in thin slices
  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 8 - slices bacon, diced
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 small green peppers, chopped
  • 2 cans 53 oz. cans pork and beans
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce (i prefer sweet baby ray)
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons mustard

How To Make baked beans with smoked sausage and beef

  • Step 1
    Brown meats, onions and green peppers together. Skim off fat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and cook for 20-30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
