My grandmother was a cook for a hotel, and my mother could have been! This is their joint recipe, and my entire family loves it. It is very easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans pork and beans (15 oz each)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 - pork chops

How To Make baked beans and pork chops

  • Prepare a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Chop onion. Drain one can of pork and beans.
  • Place pork and beans, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, mustard, and brown sugar in a bowl.

    In a medium-sized bowl, place both cans of pork and beans, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, mustard, and brown sugar, mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into the pan.

  • Place the pork chops on top of the bean mixture.

    Place the pork chops on top of the bean mixture. I turn them over once before placing them in the oven so they have a slight coating of the bean mixture liquid.
  • Bake until onions and pork chops are cooked.

    Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil and bake for another 30 minutes.
