Ingredients
- 12 ounces bow tie pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 pound sweet italian sausage, casing removed and crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 1/3 cup black olives, cut
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 28 ounces can stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- - parmesan cheese, grated
How To Make michael's awesome possum pasta

Step 1Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.

Step 2Heat oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Cook sausage and pepper flakes until sausage is evenly brown. Stir in onion, peppers, olives and garlic, cook until tender. Drain grease. Stir in tomatoes, cream, and salt/pepper. Simmer until mixture thickens, 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 3Stir cooked pasta into sauce, and heat through. Sprinkle with parsley and parmesan cheese.
