My father would make this for a Sunday dinner. With baked potatoes and green beans, it was so memorable.

lg red apple, cored, thinly sliced

medium green apple, cored, thinly sliced
1/2 c
pure maple syrup
1 tsp
pumpkin pie spice

How to Make Autumn-flavored ham steak

Step-by-Step

  • 1Melt butter in lg skillet over med-high heat. Fry ham steak until both sides are browned.
  • 2Place apple slices over ham. Pour syrup over apples. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer, stirring occasionally until apples are tender. Sprinkle w/ pumkin pie spice right befor serving.
