    red onion,chopped

    bacon strips,diced

    boneless pork chops,sliced into strips
  • 1 pkg
    (10 ounces) fresh spinach,torn
  • 2
    garlic cloves,minced
  • 2 tsp
    seasoned pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese,softened
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    shredded swiss cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Au Gratin Pork Casserole


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large skillet,saute carrots and onion in margarine over medium heat until golden for 5 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet,cook bacon over medium heat until crisp;remove to paper towels to drain.
  4. In a large saucepan,add bacon drippings,cook sliced pork until browned.Add spinach and garlic;cook and stir for 6 minutes.Drain thoroughly.
  5. Stir in seasoned pepper,oregano,sea salt,italian seasoning,cream cheese,sharp cheddar cheese and bacon.
  6. Place half of the carrot-onion mixture in a greased 1-qt.baking dish;top with pork mixture and remaining carrot-onion mixture(dish will be full).Sprinkle with cheeses.
  7. Bake,uncovered,for 25-30 minutes or until pork is tender and cheeses is melted.
